in the world, ZOU Optis from ‘the boatyard’ is the Australian importer of Optiparts
from The Netherlands, manufacturer of the highest quality and most broadly used

stockists are opening in line with the growth of the class, and are developing
stockists near your local club so you won’t miss out on a sail because a part is
missing. At ‘the boatyard’ we designed and build our
own PE sail training dinghy the ‘Tacker’ for the Tackers Program which we have
developed over the past four years for the Yachting Australia Junior Sailing
Plan. ‘the boatyard’ is mobile too, as it has the ability of
setting itself up in yacht clubs around Steven Bond of ‘the boatyard’ started OziOpti in 2005
to bring an affordable and level playing field to junior sailing, since then we
have delivered over 300 Optis, our boats have won the Australian Championships
for the past three years and in 2009 our boats won 7 of the 28 heats at the New
Zealand Optimist Nationals, from a field of 250+
sailors. If you can’t find what
you’re looking for at ‘the boatyard’
please drop us a line and if it’s on the pathway we’ll find it for
you. Yours in
sailing, Steven
